Je suis Directeur de recherche au CNRS et responsable de l’équipe Virostyle. Biochimiste de formation, j’ai acquis une expertise en virologie cellulaire, en étudiant l’évolution des génotypes et phénotypes chez les hôtes et parasites. Mes centres d’intérêts sont les voix alternatives des flux d’informations biologiques, depuis le génome jusqu’au transcriptome et au protéome, qui conditionnent les larges gradients d’interactions hôtes-parasites. Enfin, j’essaie de comprendre comment les environnements moléculaires, cellulaires, tissulaires et de l’organisme interagissent avec les génotypes des hôtes et des parasites pour déterminer l’issue d’une infection.
